Charge iPhone X wirelessly - how it works
You can not only charge the iPhone X via the cable as usual, but also completely wirelessly. We show you exactly how this works in this practical tip.
Charge iPhone X wirelessly: these are the options
- Like the iPhone 8, the iPhone X uses the Qi standard for wireless charging. It is the best known standard that has now become established.
- To charge the iPhone X inductively, you need a charging station with the Qi standard. When buying, just make sure that the charging station supports Qi.
- You can find cheap models on Amazon for around 10 euros. The charging stations from CSL and Anker are inexpensive and well rated.
- You can also charge your iPhone X wirelessly in the car. Most manufacturers now equip their new cars with Qi modules. IKEA has had tables and lamps with integrated Qi charging stations for a long time.
- Apple does not yet offer a Qi charging station, but has already presented a model. The Apple AirPower should not appear until next year. In addition to the iPhone X, the charging mat also has space for other devices such as an Apple Watch or AirPods.
