Images organized through iPhoto can also be viewed in the Finder. We'll tell you where to find the photo folder to open the JPEG files you're looking for.
iPhoto library: Open package contents to view photos in the folder
- Open the "Pictures" folder.
- Right click on "iPhoto library" (CTRL + click)
- Click on "View Package Contents".
- Open the "Masters" folder and then click through the displayed folders. iPhoto creates a series of folders for each photo import, named after the date of import:
In the first folder, named after the year of the import, there is the second folder, named after the month. Then open the third folder (day of import), you will find the actual photo folder. This is named in the first sequence of digits after the complete date (year, month, day), e.g. 20131101 for all images that were imported on November 1, 2013.
