iPhoto: How to create a picture collage
You can use the iPhoto photo editor to create a photo collage on your Mac. How to collect your favorite pictures on one page and then export them to your Mac. You can find out how it works in our practical tip.
Create a photo collage with iPhoto
With iPhoto you can create a picture collage in just a few steps. You then export them to your Mac with an email.
- Start iPhoto.
- Now select a folder on the left with your photos from which you would like to create a picture collage.
- Now the images from the folder are displayed on the right side. Mark the desired photos with your mouse. Alternatively, you can click the desired images while holding down the CMD key.
- Then press the Deploy button in the lower right corner (see picture).
- Here you select Mail.
Determine theme for picture collage
You can also set a theme for your picture collage and write suitable text.
- Next you will see various picture collages on the right side.
- Opt for one of the collage models such as "pin board", "photo cardboard" or "celebration".
- In some picture collages you will also find a text field. Here you can enter a suitable text on the subject of your picture collage.
- Now select an email address. Your picture collage will be sent to this address. To save them on your Mac, you now have to open the email and save the attachment on your Mac.
