iPhoto: Remove color cast from photo - how it works
iPhoto comes with a handy pipette tool that you can use to remove color casts from photos. We show you how to do this in this practical tip.
iPhoto: Remove color cast from temperature and color from the photo
- Open iPhoto and click on the photo you want to edit.
- Select "Edit" in the lower right and then the "Effects" tab.
- In the right display, click on the pipette icon next to "Coloring" and in the picture on a spot that should have a neutral gray or white tone. iPhoto will then adjust the "Temperature" and "Coloring" controls accordingly.
- Alternatively, you can adjust the "Temperature" and "Coloring" controls yourself until the color cast has disappeared.
