iPod: Error 3194 - what to do?

Follow the tips below to fix the error:
- First, check if a software update is available for iTunes. if so, install it.
- Turn off your antivirus software while your iPod is connected to the PC.
- Make sure you are connected to the internet.
- You can also try unplugging the router for a few seconds to reset it.
- Use a LAN cable to connect to the Internet and do not use WLAN, otherwise the full bandwidth cannot be used.
- A simple restart of the computer can also help.

- If you are using Mac OS, open the terminal and enter the command "sudo nano / private / etc / hosts". Confirm with Enter and enter your administrator password. Then navigate with the arrow keys until you find the entry "gs.apple.com".
- Put a hash and a space in front of the IP and then save with [CTRL] + O. With [CTRL] + X. The editor is then closed. Then restart your Mac.
