Recovering deleted music on iPod may be difficult. Read this practical tip to find out which options you have.
Recover deleted songs on iPod
Basically, the same applies to the songs on the iPod as for all other data: A regular backup usually reliably protects against any annoyance. Whether and how you can get back the deleted songs depends on various factors.
- If you bought the music from iTunes, recovery is usually possible. You sign in to iTunes and then sync your iPod with your iTunes account.
- If you still have the deleted pieces of music on CD, you're in luck. You first reload the music to iTunes and then transfer it back to your iPod.
- If none of the above options apply, you can still try your luck with the CopyTrans Doctor, which you can find in the CopyTrans Suite. The CopyTrans Suite also includes a tool that you can use to conveniently create backups of your iPod.
