iPod: attach protective film - how it works
If you put a protective film on your iPod, you will protect the music player from scratches and dirt. In addition to a high-quality film, you also need a great deal of sensitivity. In this article, we will show you how to attach a protective film to your iPod.
How to attach the protective film to your iPod
If you do not purchase a display film set, you will need a cleaning cloth and an EC card in addition to the film. With many protective films, corresponding accessories are already included in the scope of delivery. Also, be sure to buy protective film made for your iPod. Check the exact device name here. Then do the following:
- First clean the display of your iPod carefully and make sure that no dirt remains. Areas that are not properly cleaned will later leave traces in the form of bubbles under the film.
- Now remove about a third of the protective film and place it exactly where you want it on your iPod. First press the film lightly.
- Now use the EC card and pull it lightly over the protective film on the display. Use caution to avoid scratching.
- Then move the card to all corners and edges to firmly attach the film. Otherwise it can happen that dust penetrates under the film and creates bubbles.
- If bubbles are already present, you can slide them out on the sides. Alternatively, remove the film and clean the display again. Then put the protective film back on your iPod.
