iTunes / AppStore: return items
Returning iOS apps in the AppStore and songs on iTunes - Apple now makes it even easier. Read here how to do it.
Return to the AppStore / iTunes - you have to consider that
- Deadlines: You can return any item that was purchased within the past 90 days.
- The return usually takes only a few seconds. In exceptional cases, an inspection by an Apple employee is necessary. You can recognize this by the note "Pending".
In 4 steps: return items to iTunes and the AppStore
- First open the Apple return website "reportaproblem.apple.com" and log in with your Apple ID and password.
- Now all purchased items appear, including songs, apps and books. Click "Report a problem" to the right.
- An input mask opens in which you have to select a problem and write a short reason - for example, that you bought the wrong item.
- Then just click on "Send" and shortly afterwards the status "Refunded" appears. The costs have now been credited to you.
