iTunes: Disable automatic downloads
If you deactivate automatic downloads in iTunes, purchased content with your Apple ID is not downloaded immediately. We show where you can set this.
iTunes: Disable automatic downloads
- Windows: Click on the menu item "Edit" in the upper left corner of iTunes and select the "Settings". If you don't see the point, open the settings with the key combination [Ctrl] + [, ].
- Mac: Start iTunes and click the button of the same name in the top left of the window. Select the "Settings" there.
- Go to the "Store" tab above and find the "Automatic Downloads" category. Deactivate all content that you do not want to download here.
- If you also deactivate the option "Always search for available downloads automatically", you will no longer be notified of the downloads.
- With the button "OK" your settings are saved.
