iTunes: Sync individual songs to iPod
With a simple setting in iTunes, you don't sync entire playlists, just individual songs with the iPod. We'll show you how it's done.
Sync selected music in iTunes - Here's how
If you don't have enough storage space on your Apple iPod, you can sync individual tracks with iTunes instead of entire albums. We will show you which setting you have to make.
- Connect your iPod to the computer. If iTunes doesn't start automatically, open it manually.
- Select the iPod as the device and click on the "Overview" tab.
- Now check the "Manage music and videos manually" box under "Options" and confirm the setting with the "Apply" button.
- Now click on the "On iPod" tab and you will find the "Add" button in the top right corner. Now you can drag individual tracks onto your iPod via Drag'and'Drop.
