iTunes: Use multiple Apple devices with one account
In iTunes, you can use multiple Apple devices with one account. So you don't have to create two accounts for iPad and iPhone. We'll tell you exactly how to do this.
Use multiple Apple devices with one Apple ID
You can use up to 10 Apple devices with one Apple ID:
- Log in as usual with your Apple ID on your iPhone or iPad. You can do this, for example, in the iTunes app by tapping "Apple ID" at the bottom.
- You have now linked your device with your Apple ID.
- To manage your devices, open iTunes and sign in with your Apple ID. To do this, click on "Register" in the "Store" tab.
- Then select "Store" and the option "Show my account for more information".
- Now click on "Manage Devices" in the "Account Data" screen.
- Here you can see a list of all linked devices. If you want to remove a device, select the "Remove" option next to the device name.
- Note: If there are 10 devices in the device setup and you want to use another device with your Apple ID, you must first remove one device.
