iTunes message: Apple ID has not been used - what to do?
If a message appears in iTunes that your Apple ID has not yet been used in the iTunes Store, you can usually fix the problem yourself. We'll show you how it's done.
iTunes: Apple ID has not yet been used in the App Store
- If the message appears, there is a problem with your form of payment. This is not always due to incorrect data, but may also be due to a problem with Apple.
- Click on the "Check" button and set up another payment method if possible. If you have just created the account, you can also simply create a new Apple ID.
- Some users report that setting up an account without a form of payment eliminates the problem. You can then set up the means of payment later. We show you how this works in the practical tip "iTunes: Set up an account without a credit card" and in the following video:
