iTunes: Burn podcasts to CD - does that work?
In iTunes, you can burn podcasts to CD so that you can listen to your favorite podcasts in the car, for example. In today's practical tip, you will learn how this works.
Burn podcasts to CD via iTunes
You can burn podcasts that you purchased from the iTunes Store, for example, directly onto a CD using the iTunes burner:
- Start iTunes. You can find the program in your dock or in the Spotlight search at the top right.
- Select the "Podcasts" category in iTunes by clicking the space next to "TV Shows".
- Now press "My Podcasts".
- Select all podcasts that you want to burn to a CD. To do this, click on all podcasts while holding the "CMD" button.
- Now click on "New"> "New playlist from selection" in the top Apple system bar.
Burn podcasts to CD
You can burn the marked podcasts onto a CD in the following way:
- Enter any name for your playlist.
- Then click on "File" and select the option "Burn playlist to medium".
- Select your parameters for the burning process such as burning speed or the format for your podcasts such as audio or MP3 CD. Then confirm your entries with "OK".
