iTunes WiFi Sync is not working - you can do that
If the WLAN synchronization no longer works in iTunes, this can have several reasons. We'll show you what you can do about it.
iTunes: WiFi sync doesn't work
- Network: In order for your iOS device to be synchronized via WiFi, the computer and iOS device must be in the same WiFi network.
- Power: If the battery level on your laptop or iOS device is too low, synchronization is refused. First connect the affected device to the power and charge it.
- Settings: If multiple devices are detected, your iOS device may select the wrong one. Open the "Settings" app and open the "iTunes WLAN Sync" in the "General" category. Tap the correct computer and then tap the "Sync Now" button.
- Reset: If there is only a temporary problem, restart all devices. This includes both the computer and the iOS device, as well as your router.
iTunes: Set up WiFi sync correctly
- Connect your iOS device to your computer via USB cable and start Tunes.
- Select your iOS device in the top right and scroll down.
- Under the Options category, activate the "Sync with this iPhone via WiFi" function.
- Then click on the "Synchronize" button at the bottom right and wait a moment. Now the WiFi sync should work again.
