jDownloader unpacking error - you can do that
We'll show you what you can do if the jDownloader spits out an unpacking error.
How to fix the unpacking error in JDownloader
- Download the latest version from JDownloader and use the update function in the program (Help → Find updates).
- Install the latest Java Runtime Environment for your PC.
- Make sure that the specified directory for extraction exists and that you have sufficient access rights to it (Settings → Archive extractor → Target folder for extracting). If necessary, select a directory on another hard drive.
- Check that there is enough free space on the drive you selected to unzip.
- It is also possible that the file could not be downloaded correctly. Therefore, download the file again, ideally from another download source.
- You can of course simply unzip the files manually - provided there is no error in the downloaded archive. Use a program such as Bandizip or 7-Zip. Then open the settings for the jDownloader and then remove the checkmark from "Archive Extractor".
