JDownloader does not start - this may be the reason
If the JDownloader no longer starts, we will show you some possible solutions in this practical tip so that you can get the tool up and running again.
JDownloader does not start anymore - you can do that
- You may not have enough rights to run JDownloader. Therefore, right click on the shortcut and select "Run as administrator".
- Make sure you have the latest version of Java installed on your PC. You can do that on this page.
- Perform a new installation. Manually delete remaining files and folders, or use the Revo Uninstaller.
- Make sure that the program is in the exception list of your firewall and the anti-virus program.
- In some cases it is sufficient to restart the PC once.
- Run the "jdupdate.jar" file to import a possible update of your Java version.
