Convert JPG to EPS - so it'll work

In some cases, you may need to convert your JPG graphic to EPS format. For example, some printers need your image in EPS format to be able to print it. Here we show you how to convert a JPG image online as well as offline as an EPS vector.
Convert JPG file online to EPS format
If you don't want to install an additional program on your computer, you can have your JPG graphic converted to EPS online:
- Visit the website "Convertio.co/de" and click on the red button "From the computer". Then select the photo to be converted.
- You will now see the name of the image you have uploaded and a small drop-down menu to the right of it.
- Open this and go to the "Vector" option. Another menu opens with the "EPS" item.
- As soon as you click "Convert", your image will be uploaded and converted.
- By selecting the "Download" button, you can download the EPS file to your computer and use it.
Convert the JPG file to PDF using the PDFCreator
If you prefer not to upload your images to the Internet, you can also convert your JPG file to EPS using the "PDFCreator".
- Install the "PDFCreator" and the "PostScript driver" from Adobe on your computer.
- Navigate to the JPG file and click "Print".
- The print preview opens. Under "Printer:" select "PDFCreator" from the drop-down menu and click "Print" again.
- Now you see the settings of the PDFCreator. Enter a document title and click "Save".
- Select a storage location and change the "File type:" to "Encapsulated PostScript files (* .eps)" using the drop-down menu.
- As soon as you click on "Save", the JPG file is converted into EPS format.
