Can Payback Points Expire?
Collecting Payback Points is very trendy. In this practical tip, we clarify whether the points can also expire.
Payback points can also expire
You can collect Payback points in many shops and at some online retailers. But the collective fever doesn't last forever:
- Your points are valid for three years from your registration and expire no later than September 30 of the corresponding calendar year.
- In your customer account you can see when your points expire: the expired points are displayed in red.
- But you can protect yourself: if you add a Payback Maestro, Payback Visa or Payback American Express card to your account, your points will no longer expire. However, if you no longer collect points within three years, your old points will still expire.
