Make your own coffee peel - how it works
You can easily make good beauty scrubs, such as a coffee scrub, yourself. The best thing about it: The self-made peels cost little and are at least as effective as expensive peels from the trade.
Coffee peeling - so you make the beauty peeling yourself
A coffee peeling is extremely easy to make yourself and basically costs you nothing, because you can simply use the coffee grounds from your coffee. In addition, your self-made peeling has the invaluable advantage that you know the ingredients exactly.
- The peeling is made up of fresh ingredients and contains no preservatives. You are doing something good for your skin, because preservatives in particular are often responsible for skin irritation.
- Although your homemade coffee scrub costs almost nothing, it is very effective. The peeling gently removes the old skin cells and improves the blood flow to the skin cells.
- In addition, the peeling promotes cell renewal and the stimulating caffeine not only works internally. The caffeine is also stimulating to the skin. After the coffee peeling, the skin looks much fresher and feels very soft.
- By the way, the peeling helps against unloved cellulite, as it has a detoxifying effect.
- The prerequisite is of course that you use the homemade peeling regularly. You should take the time for the beauty treatment two to three times a week.
A coffee peeling becomes a small beauty elixir
The coffee grounds from morning coffee are sufficient for your homemade peeling. Alternatively, pour hot water over about six to seven tablespoons of coffee powder and let the mixture steep for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- You can use the coffee peeling in its original form. If you refine the peeling, you will also optimize the effect.
- You can intensify the peeling effect by mixing the coffee grounds with a little salt or sugar. For a full body peeling in the shower, add a little more salt or sugar for the thigh area, for example. The peeling effect is strengthened accordingly by the coarse grains.
- In the case of sensitive skin areas, such as the facial skin, use the coarse grains very carefully.
- It is better to enrich the facial peeling with two to three tablespoons of body oil so as not to irritate the fine skin unnecessarily. For example, jojoba oil, argan oil, almond oil, pomegranate oil or simply good olive oil are ideal.
