For snapshots, the camera app on the iPhone must be quickly accessible via a shortcut. You can partly create this yourself under iOS. We explain how this shortcut works in the individual iOS versions.
iOS 5, 6, 7: camera shortcut for iPhone
- As of iOS 5, the camera shortcut is already integrated in the lockscreen. So if it has to be quick, click on the on / off switch so that you can see the lockscreen, put your finger on the bottom right of the camera symbol and swipe it upwards (see picture). Now the camera opens.
- Unfortunately, the camera button can no longer be started as before using the home button. You cannot switch off the function either.

iOS 4: Create camera shortcut on iPhone
This guide only works on Apple mobile devices that have iOS 4 installed.
- Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone.
- Select the "General" menu item there.
- Here you will find the "Home button" menu.
- Under "Double click on the home button" you will find the "Camera" in addition to the "iPod" option. If you select this, the camera app starts after double-clicking the home button.
