Can I see if my Facebook message has been read?

If a friend does not reply on Facebook, you can check whether he has already read the message or not. We'll show you how it's done.

How to see if your message has been read on Facebook

• Open Facebook and log in. Click on "Messages" in the top left and select the desired message.
• If you have not yet received a reply to a message, you can see under the last message when it was read (see picture).
• If the message is still unread, you will not see this message. Only when the user has opened the message is it marked as seen.
• It is different with the "Facebook" and "Facebook Messenger" apps. Here, unread messages are marked with "Sent".
