Kaspersky: databases damaged - what to do?
If the databases in Kaspersky are damaged, protection against viruses is no longer guaranteed. We'll show you how to solve the problem.
Kaspersky: Repair damaged databases
- Start Kaspersky, right click on the update tile and confirm the process with "Update". Kaspersky now installs the latest updates. In many cases, this solves the problem.
- If that doesn't help, look for the Kaspersky icon in the lower right of the taskbar. Click on it with the right mouse button and select the "Exit" option. Then restart the software and carry out an update again.
Kaspersky: damaged databases cannot be repaired ...
... then only a new installation helps:
- Download the free Kaspersky Lab Products Remover and start the tool.
- Enter the code shown above and confirm the process with the "Delete" button.
- Now Kaspersky is completely removed. Then download the latest version of Kaspersky and install it again.
