Control children in the social network - so it'll work
You can easily control who your children are dealing with on social networks with the right app. We have summarized the details for you here.
Child protection in social networks - how to set up the app
First download the SMCP - Social Media Child Protection app. You can find these in the App Store and in the Google Play Store (price 1.79 euros).
- On the start page of the app, tap on the settings icon on the right, then on "Select language" and change it to "German".
- Then tap on "Create new account". Enter a "name of the account" and tap "Facebook" and "Twitter" below to store the access data. It is best to let the child enter the access data himself so that the password remains unknown to you.
- Then authorize the app's access to the accounts. The app must also be confirmed again on Facebook. After the setup is signaled by green buttons, click on "Save".
- Note: You can already get some insight into the activities of children in social networks if you are there yourself and make friends with your child. Then the control aspect is not so much in the foreground.
