You can connect your Kindle Fire to wireless devices via Bluetooth. We show you how this works in this practical tip.
Kindle Fire: set up Bluetooth - how it works
- Before you begin, check that the wireless device is within range and that it is turned on.
- Then start the connection mode.
- Go to Quick Settings by dragging the top of the Kindle screen down with your finger. Tap on the "Wireless connections" there.
- Go to "Bluetooth" there.
- Activate Bluetooth by setting the switch to "On". Kindle Fire will now search for available devices.
- Now tap the device you want to connect your Kindle to.
- Follow the connection instructions.
- Note that 2nd generation Kindle Fire devices cannot be connected to other Bluetooth devices.
- Bluetooth microphones and headsets are not compatible.
