You can do this if Kindle does not start
You can enjoy numerous eBooks on Kindle. But of course only if the reader also start. If you have problems, you can gradually go through the following solutions:
- First, charge your Kindle. Connect the supplied USB cable to a socket or a PC so that the charging LED on your device lights up.
- Then try a reset. To do this, press and hold the on / off switch for approx. 30 seconds until the screen turns on again. With this method, however, make sure that the device is at least half charged.
- The USB cable for charging may not work, so your Kindle cannot be charged. Therefore replace this. Important: Your device only charges when the LED on the underside is solid orange.
- If these tips do not help, the hardware may be defective. If you still have a guarantee or warranty for the device, you can usually replace it.
