Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Solve main quest "Hunting Fever"
The main quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance usually offer many choices and different solutions. Our practical tip gives you an opportunity to complete the quest "Hunting Fever". In any case you have to go hunting with Hans Capon and you should be well rested and well equipped. It's best to sleep until dawn before starting the quest.
- Find Hans at the Upper Gate of Rattay and speak to him. They will go to his horse and leave together, but Heinrich has to go on foot.
- After the trip you will find yourself in a forest. Talk to Hans, follow his instructions and sleep until dawn.
- Hans will wake you up to go hunting with you. If you don't have a bow or arrows with you, you can find them in the chest by the pot.
- Now you have to hunt rabbits. Do not get too close to the animals and move slowly through the forest. Shoot a rabbit, examine the body and take the meat with you. At around 12 noon you can return to the camp and wait for Hans.
- Hans would then like to go hunting a wild boar with you. However, the animal escapes and Hans has also disappeared on his horse.
Find and save Hans
As soon as Hans is gone, you have to find him. You can find other interesting animals in the forest and also kill the previously escaped wild boar before continuing with the main quest.
- Hans is in the northwest of the forest and is held captive by two Cumanians.
- You can either storm the small camp or sneak up on it slowly and unobtrusively.
- Late in the evening you can sneak up behind the tree to which Hans was tied. Free him, you will have solved the quest automatically and it will end with a cutscene.
- However, if you want to loot the chest in the Kuman camp, you should fight the opponents before you save Hans. This is the only way to look around the warehouse.
If you find loot that you just can't leave behind and put a lot of rabbits in the quest hunting fever, it's handy to know how to increase your carrying capacity. Just read on in our next practical tip.
