Kingdom Hearts 3 DLCs have not been released except for a few key swords. One of the most important updates is the ReMind DLC. This should add a lot of content to the Disney mashup of Square Enix and Disney.
Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind DLC release date
The Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind DLC is considered to be the completion of the chapter around the Xehanort saga. For this reason, players are already looking forward to the DLC, which has been hinted at by Square Enix since spring 2019. With the confirmation in April during the "Kingdom Hearts Orchestra: World of Tres" concerts in Tokyo, only the release date is missing.
- At this year's E3 it was announced that the ReMind DLC should appear in winter 2019/2020. Typically, this is a period from December 2019 to March 2020.
- The direct date has not yet been fixed by this time (end of November 2019). We will keep you up to date.
Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind: content overview
Since the Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind DLC is supposed to be similar in scope to the final mix versions of KH 1, KH 2 and KH: Birth by Sleep, it is quite packed. In addition to the paid part, there will be some content available for free download. The main element of the DLC are the numerous cut scenes that expand the story. In addition to these, the following content should be mentioned:
- Playable characters : Other characters should be playable, judging by the trailers at the key sword cemetery. Riku, Aqua and Roxas have been seen so far.
- New boss fights : There should also be other boss opponents that you have to find first. Secret bosses were rare in Kingdom Hearts 3, and many players want a lot more of what the DLC could do.
- Key swords : Free key swords should be available, which can also change their shape. Star loyalty and oblivion and a new transformation are known.
- No further content or playable characters have been determined yet.
Future DLCs for Kingdom Hearts 3
Kingdom Hearts 3 will have no additional paid DLC to the extent of ReMind compared to other games. According to Tetsuya Nomura, the story is to be completed with this, which means that further large DLC are not necessary.
- But that doesn't mean that smaller DLC are ignored. It has been suggested more often that further key blades or even outfits are possible. These will probably only be announced after the ReMind DLC.
