Kinox.to: Get a warning - what to do?
Related Videos: Anonymous - Operation KinoX.to (May 2024).
Wave by wave of warnings rolls over the users of various internet portals like kinox.to. Did you get a letter too? We explain your situation.
Caution! Fake alarm - Kinox.to streams have not yet been warned
- It can be assumed that you have received the warning letter in writing with your name, your IP address and similar details. Everything else is to be seen as extremely dubious anyway. If the warning appears as a pop-up in your browser, you have almost certainly caught a virus with which the developers want to extort money from you. We explain how to remove it here.
- There are actually no known cases in which Kinox.to users have been warned, because that would attract even more media attention than the recently sent RedTube warnings - precisely because kinox.to seems to have an unbelievable number of users despite the legal gray area,
- Kinox.to itself is not a streaming site, as the operators themselves repeatedly affirm. They only offer a link collection to the actual file hosts such as sock share, bit share or stream cloud. Therefore, a warning letter should rather be addressed directly to users of these file hosts and contain hardly any reference to kinox.to. Warnings directly to kinox.to users may then be bad jokes from free-riders who illegally try to extort money from people.
- If the warning appears to be serious even after careful examination, you still do not have to pay immediately. The Redtube warnings in particular, which are a precedent for the warning of streaming users, have not yet been fully clarified legally.
