Klarmobil abroad: prices and tariffs

If you would like to use Klarmobil abroad, you should inform yourself beforehand about the prices and tariffs in order to avoid cost traps. We show you the most important data at a glance.

Prices: Use the Klarmobil abroad

Note: Klarmobil divides the world into three zones. Zone 1 consists of the EU countries, Zone 2 from the remaining European countries as well as the USA and Canada. Zone 3 is the rest of the world. You can find out which countries are in which zone on page 1 of the Klarmobil price list.

• You pay 22.6 cents per minute for a call within the EU. A call from or in zones 2 and 3 costs between 1.49 and 2.99 euros / minute.
• If you are called within the EU, this will cost you around 6 cents per minute. In zones 2 and 3, an incoming call costs between 69 cents and 1.79 euros.
• Sending an SMS costs only around 7 cents within the EU. In other parts of the world, you pay a maximum of 39 cents for an SMS. Receiving messages is always free.
• You should be particularly careful when using the mobile data abroad. Within the EU, you already pay around 24 cents per MB. In zones 2 and 3, an MB costs 26 to 34 euros. You should therefore switch off the Internet outside the EU.
