Copy ringtones to iPhone
If you created the ringtone with iTunes, it is already in the media library. If not, also follow step 1:
- Open iTunes and simultaneously press the [Ctrl] and [O] keys. Now select the folder in which the ringtone is located and click on "Open" to import it into the library.
- In the iTunes main window you can switch between the different categories like "Music", "Apps" and "Sounds" in the top left corner. Select the "Tones" item here.
- If the "Tones" item is not visible, press the [Ctrl] and [S] keys simultaneously so that the sidebar is displayed. You should now find your own tones at the top.
- If the option is not visible here either, press the [Ctrl] and [, ] keys simultaneously so that the settings open. Activate a checkmark in front of the item "Tones" and click on "OK".
- You will now see the ringtone in the list of tones. Drag the ringtone to the left side of the screen onto the iPhone icon. The ringtone is now on your iPhone and only needs to be set up.
