Kodi: Clear cache - how it works
If you use Kodi for a long time, it can happen that the streaming is no longer smooth. Usually you have to clear the cache. In this practical tip we will show you how to do this.
Install Merlin Repository
First you have to install "Merlin Repository". This great will help you clear the cache.
- First go to the settings. The file manager is located there.
- In the file manager, tap on "Add source" and then on "None" to open a text field.
- In the text box, type: //mwiz.co.uk/repo/. Name the source "Merlin Repository" and then confirm with "Ok".

After you have installed the repository, you can install Merlin Auto Cleaner right away.
- Go to the home screen and tap "Add-ons". Then click on "Install from repository".
- Select "Merlin Repository"> "Program add-ons" and finally click on "Merlin Auto Cleaner". The tool is then installed.
- As soon as the notification that Merlin Auto Cleaner is installed, return to "Add-ons".
- Press the tool for about 2 seconds until a context menu appears. There click on "Settings". Now you can set the tool to clear the cache as soon as Kodi starts.
