Microsoft Word: separate headers
If you have divided your Word document into page sections, you can separate the headers:
- Select a header that you want to separate from the previous one.
- After double-clicking on the header, you can edit it.
- Above the header you will find the "Link to previous" item under the "Navigation" menu section. Click to separate the headers.
- Now you can edit the header without changing any previous headers.
- Remember to define a new section of the page in front of each page in which you want to insert a new header.
