Block credit card: you should pay attention to this
- You will need your account or card number to block it. If you cannot find it quickly, your identity can often be confirmed using personal data.
- If you have not acted negligently, liability is usually limited to 150 euros. Many banks completely waive this liability. If you have blocked the card in good time, in the best case it won't get that far.
- Immediately report the loss to the local police after the ban. File a complaint against an unknown person, even if you see no chance of success.
