Put the laptop in energy saving mode when it is closed

In Windows you can control the behavior of your laptop when it is closed. You can choose to save energy here. We'll explain how to do it.
Saving energy when closing the laptop screen
- Open the Control Panel in Windows.
- Click on "System and Security".
- Then select the "Power Options".
- In the left display click on "Choose what should happen when the computer is closed".
- In the area "Mains switch and folding settings" you can now decide in the section "Battery" as well as under "Mains operation" the behavior "When closing" (see picture).
- At this point, select "Save energy".
