The Last of Us Remastered - the game version for Playstation 4
- In terms of content, both versions are identical. The remastered version only offers an expansion here and there, such as the single player expansion "Left Behind".
- The main difference lies in the graphics: If "The Last of Us" was still running at 30 frames per second and a resolution of 720p, the images in the remastered version rose to 60. The resolution is now 1080p (Full HD). This increases the detail density significantly. In addition, the anti-aliasing and the visibility have become even better. - In short: The innovations are not particularly important. Only the graphics have increased significantly and, thanks to Full HD, offers even more detail. If you missed the PS3 version, you should go for the remastered version. If you can accept a few drawbacks in the graphics, the PS3 version is sufficient, which is cheaper in terms of price.
