LaTeX: Write "Less than or equal to ≤" and "Greater than or equal to ≥" - that's how it's done
Do you want to write in the text program LaTeX less than or equal to and greater than the same? In this practical tip, we will show you how this works:
This is how you write in LaTeX less than or equal to and greater than or equal
The LaTeX software package makes it relatively easy to use less than or equal to and greater than equal signs. You should proceed as follows in order to be able to write Texmaker "Less than or equal to ≤" or "Greater than or equal to ≥" in the LaTeX editor:
- Start your LaTeX document as usual.
- To write less than or equal, use the command "$ a \ leq \ $ b".
- To write greater than or equal, use the command "$ a \ geq \ $ b".
- You can get the dollar sign you need by pressing the [Shift] and [4] keys; you get a backslash with [Alt] and the question mark key.
- The required characters have been created. You can now proceed with the document as normal.
