LaTeX: Change font size - how it works
LaTeX is preferred for scientific work. You can change the font size here with just a few clicks. In this practical tip, we will show you how to do this.
Change the font size in LaTeX
- In LaTeX Office you work with many commands to be able to format the text. This also applies to the font size. To do this, you must start with a slash and then specify the size. Example: "\ huge" for huge.
- The command does not always have to be at the beginning of the sentence. You can also insert it right in the middle, since the following section of text is always formatted in the appropriate size.
- In addition to the "huge" command, there are the sizes "tiny", "scriptsize", "footnotesize", "small", "normalsize" and "large".
In our next practical tip, we will show you how you can insert umlauts in LaTeX.
