LaTeX: Change line spacing - how it works
In LaTeX you can adjust the line spacing as required. For this you need the package with the name "Setspace". In this article, we explain how to integrate and use it correctly.
Change line spacing in LaTeX: Setspace
You can change the line spacing in LaTeX using the Setspace package:
- You integrate the package with the command "\ usepackage {setspace}".
- It contains the functions "doublespace", "onehalfspace" and "singlespace" for double, 1.5 times and single line spacing.
- If you want to set the line spacing in the entire document to 1.5 times, integrate the package with the command "\ usepackage [onehalfspace] {setspace}".
- If you want to change the line spacing within the document, use "\ doublespacing", for example, to double the spacing.
- To only output an area with a certain line spacing, for example in single line spacing, use "\ begin {singlespace}" and "\ end {singlespace}" to mark the area.
- With the command "\ begin {spacing} {5}" you set a 5-fold line spacing. So you can set any distance. End the section with "\ end {spacing}".
- In the picture you can see a code example that clarifies the commands.
