Launch Manager - what is it?
In this practical tip we explain what the "Launch Manager" is and what it is used for.
What can the launch manager do?
The Launch Manager is a program that is already installed on many computers. Especially the manufacturers Acer and Medion are missing this tool on their laptops.
- With the Launch Manager you can control and configure numerous functions of your computer. Inexperienced users should not use the program. In the worst case, you can cause certain components to fail with incorrect entries.
- Among other things, you can switch the WLAN and Bluetooth on and off, regulate the screen brightness and assign functions to the Fn keys yourself on laptops.
- Laptops with keyboards that contain special buttons for accessing various functions require the Launch Manager so that the computer knows what to do.
- Tip: Under no circumstances should you uninstall the program. If you would not describe yourself as an experienced user, you'd better keep your hands off the program. If it bothers you, disable it in auto-start. Instructions on how to do this can be found in this practical tip.
