Crack speakers - you can do that
An unpleasant crack in the loudspeaker indicates that they are not connected correctly. We have other solutions for you in this practical tip.
Crack speakers - so you fix the error
With the following tips you can ensure that your loudspeakers produce perfect sound again:
- First make sure that you have correctly connected the speakers to the PC and that the connections are properly seated.
- You should also check that you have selected the correct socket on your PC.
- The cable should also be checked and must not show any defects or broken cables. If this is the case, you should replace the speakers as soon as possible or have the cable repaired.
- If you are using the rear socket, test the front green socket on your PC. If the speakers then no longer crack, there is a defect in the rear connection.
- If the speakers also crack at the front socket, you should consult a second PC to test the speakers there. If there are noises there, you should replace the boxes.
- However, there may also be a loose contact at the speaker connection. By wiggling gently, you can find out if the cracking disappears.
- In order for the speakers to work correctly, you need the latest driver for your sound card. You can download and install it using Windows Update.
