League of Legends: 7 tips for beginners
Beginners often have a difficult start in League of Legends. In the following 7 tips we will tell you how you can improve your skills in the game.
Beginners tips for League of Legends
- It is important to pay special attention to the mini map in the lower right corner at the beginning. You can find all important events there. For example, you can see when an opposing champion is approaching or your team members are in danger.
- In addition to the mini map, you should use the smart ping menu. To do this, hold down Ctrl and the left mouse button and drag your mouse to one of the four fields. You can choose between "Enemy missing", "On my way", "Danger" and "Assist me". With the smart ping feature, you can communicate with your team without writing much. This is particularly helpful in precarious situations.
- Until you reach level 30, you should try each champion once. There are 10 champions every week that you can play for free. Test everything once and learn the skills of each hero.
- At level 30, however, you should then choose a role. It doesn't matter whether you prefer to be a jungler, supporter or mid-laner. Each role has its own difficulties that you have to master. Play what you enjoy most and not what others ask for. Specializing in a second role gives you additional flexibility in choosing a champion.
- To be perfectly prepared, you should read guides to your champions. On Mobafire, LoLPro or Solomid you will find detailed descriptions of runes, championships and skilling. In our practical tips you will also find guides, for example on Braum, Nidalee or Master Yi.
- Find a mentor. Make friends with other players and learn from them. You will get first-hand tips and tricks and have someone to watch and improve your playing style. Videos from other players or Twitch streams also contribute to your improvement.
- Especially in ranked games there can be one or two outbursts of anger. Here the motto "Calm down" should have top priority. Insulting other players is bad for team play.
