League of Legends: LoL Guide Jax
The League of Legends (LoL) character "Jax" is one of the strongest and most flexible champions from all over Runeterra. This guide is designed to bring you closer to the champion and help you win in the field.
LoL Guide: Jax - The Grand Master of Arms
The League of Legends Champion Jax is a so-called melee and assassin. His strengths are particularly noticeable in duels, since he has large life reserves, an enormous attack and ability strength. In contrast to many other characters, since it can be played both "Attack Damage" (shortness: AD) and "Ability Power" (shortness: AP), it is also known as a hybrid.
Create Jax Championship
Before you try out your new character in the direction fields, it is particularly advisable that you create your own championship page for Jax. Your championship should meet the following conditions:
- Depending on the level, you have a maximum of 30 championship points available. You distribute these under the categories "Attack", "Defense" and "Knowledge". However, you can only assign up to 21 points to a category.
- At the beginning, it is recommended that you distribute 21 points in the "Attack" category if possible. Pay particular attention to the championships you select that include attack damage, attack speed, and armor penetration.
- You invest the remaining nine championship points in the "Defense" category. Here it is enough if you increase your maximum life and reduce the damage taken in combat.
Jax - rune side for the LoL hybrid
First, you create your own rune page for Jax in the League of Legends client. Distribute the runes according to your playing style. However, you should not buy any runes until you have reached level 20 and have thus unlocked class three runes. Beginners and more advanced players are best advised to follow the guidelines below.
- Nine characters, seals and glyphs can be used in each rune page. In addition, you use up to a maximum of three essences here.
- In the case of the signs, "Great sign of attack damage" is particularly useful nine times. Just one sign increases your attack damage by + 0.95.
- As a seal, acquire "Great Seal of Armor". If you have filled all nine fields with the same rune type, you will receive a total of + 13 armor.
- It is best to use runes with the "Magic Resistance" effect in the glyphs. For example, "Great Glyph of Magic Resistance" or "Great Glyph of Growing Magic Resistance" are suitable.
- You have a free choice of essences. Essences of attack damage or life robbery are preferably used for Jax.
Jax skills
Jax has the active skills "Jump Strike", "Reinforcement", "Counter Strike" and his ultimate ability "Power of the Grand Master". In addition, due to its passive ability, the attack speed increases with successive normal attacks. In contrast to the active skills, the passives cannot be expanded in the game.
- Jump Strike: Use the jump strike to quickly approach an ally or enemy unit. So they either avoid a fight or initiate it.
- Enhancement: Jax charges his weapon, doing additional damage with his next attack. The first step is to expand this ability completely, as the damage done per expansion increases significantly.
- Counter Strike: The Counter Strike is one of Jax's most powerful skills. It allows you to dodge almost all enemy abilities and stun surrounding champions.
- Grand Master's Power: With the Grand Master's power, Jax deals additional magic damage with every third blow taken. Once you activate this ability, it also gains armor and magic resistance.
- In a fight, do one of the following: Activate the "Reinforcement" ability and use the jump shot a moment later to jump at an enemy and do additional damage. As the enemy champion strikes to attack, use your counterstrike that stuns the target. Finally, activate your ultimate ability and repeat this sequence until your opponent is unable to fight.
Since the choice of items in the game depends on the individual style of play and the opposing champions, you should visit the Mobafire strategy page. There you are guaranteed to find a suitable set of items from numerous combinations. If you want to analyze your opponent's skills instead, the League of Legends Champions app is a handy companion for them.
