League of Legends crashes - it could be that
When League of Legends crashes it's annoying. We'll tell you what it can be and what you can do about it.
League of Legends: This helps against game crashes
There are many reasons why your MOBA may crash. The following are the most common causes:
- Internet connection: Check your internet connection. If this is not enough, League of Legends can crash. Pay attention to the error message and test the speed of your connection. How fast your internet has to be depends on its utilization. We recommend a DSL 6000 connection.
- Computer: If you have older hardware or a poorly ventilated PC, your computer may get too hot during a game and may have to turn itself off. Therefore, check the temperature. Here you will find the necessary system requirements.
- Start as admin: The game can also conflict with Windows. Start LoL as admin once. To do this, right-click on the LoL icon and select "Run as administrator".
- LoL server: Not only your computer can be to blame for a crash, but also the League of Legends servers. As with any online game, complications can arise. Find out more on the official homepage or in the forum about temporary server failures.
We will also help you if you only see a black screen on LoL or if the game does not start at all.
