Deactivate LED notification on HTC One: Here's how
You can deactivate the LED notification not only on HTC One, but on every Android device. This is especially useful if you have your cell phone next to your bed at night and don't want to be disturbed by annoying flashing lights. All you need is the free Android app "NoLED".
Deactivate the LED notification - install and activate NoLED
You can download the Android app "NoLED" free of charge from the Google Playstore and install it on your Android device.
- After the installation you have to activate "NoLED" by ticking "Turn on NoLED".
- Now the display is used instead of the LED as a display for incoming messages and other notifications. The built-in notification light on HTC One is now deactivated.
Set up NoLED and customize the notifications
Under "Notification settings" you can edit the LED notification for, for example, SMS / MMS, missed calls, or also for the charge indicator. After your selection you can under the menu item "power saving functions"
- keep the screen off: this prevents the display from turning on when there are incoming messages or missed calls. Thus, the entire cell phone remains dark.
- set a timeout for notifications. If you want to be briefly notified on the display, you can set how long it should be shown here.
