Integrate LEO translators into the browser - how it works
If you frequently use the LEO translator, you can integrate the online dictionary directly into the browser. We show you how this works with all common browsers.
Firefox: LEO translator for German-English already noted
- Search engine: At the top right you will find a search line next to the address line. Google is set here by default. If you click on the Google symbol, you will be offered additional search engines. Among other things also "LEO Eng-Deu".
- Context menu: If you install the free add-on LEOs Dictionaries, LEO is integrated into the context menu. Now mark a text on a website and click on the marking with the right mouse button. The word can then be translated directly using LEO.
Chrome: Use LEO translator via add-on
- Download and install the LEO dictionary search add-on. To do this, click on "Free" and "Add".
- Select a word you want on a website and right-click on it. If you select the correct language under the LEO dictionary search, the translation opens in the new tab.
Internet Explorer: Integrate LEO translators into the context menu
- In the current version of Internet Explorer, you can only integrate the LEO translator in the context menu.
- To do this, download this ZIP file and install the software it contains. You can then use the search as in Chrome and Firefox.
