Opera: import bookmarks
The bookmarks are imported into Opera as well as exported. We will show you how to do the export and import yourself. Alternatively, you can use tools such as FavBackup or OperaSave.
- First, close Opera. Then press the Windows key and E at the same time so that the Explorer opens.
- Enter "C: \ Users \ XXX \ AppData \ Roaming" in the path line above and confirm your entry with the Enter key. Replace the "XXX" entry with your user name.
- Open the "Opera Software" and "Opera Stable" folders. Find the file "Bookmarks" here. There may also be two files with the same name.
- If you want to export the bookmarks, copy the file (s). To import the bookmarks, replace the file (s) with the bookmarks file.
- Note: If you want to import bookmarks from another browser, simply drag the bookmark file into Opera. The individual bookmarks are then displayed in a list. Unfortunately, you have to save them individually and manually.
