LG G5 does not start - what to do?

LG G5 does not come on: charge the battery and soft reset
- First, you should charge your G5 battery for at least 30 minutes. How to fix a possible deep discharge of the battery. Try another cable to rule out a defect.
- Your mobile phone may be switched on, but it no longer responds and shows a black screen. In this case, a soft reset can help. The cell phone is switched off, data is not deleted.
- Press and hold the power button for ten seconds to force it to turn off.
- To switch it on again, press and hold the power button for at least three seconds until the LG logo appears.
LG G5 does not start: Recovery Mode
If your cell phone cannot be started with the above approaches, put it into recovery mode and start the "wipe cache partition" function to clean up the system. No important data will be deleted.
- Press and hold the Power, Volume Up, and Home buttons at the same time until the LG logo appears.
- Wait for the recovery menu to appear.
- Navigate with the volume buttons to the point "wipe cache partition" and confirm with the power button.
- Then select "reboot system now" to restart your device.
- If the LG G5 still does not turn on, you should contact LG customer service.
