LibreOffice: import address book - how it works
With the address data source assistant, you create an address book as a table in LibreOffice, which you can import into a document at any time. We'll show you how it works.
Import address book into LibreOffice
You can import address books for your LibreOffice work from various sources.
- From the LibreOffice menu bar, choose File> Wizards> Address Data Source.
- First select the source in the wizard. Here you can choose between Mozilla / Netscape, Thunderbird / Icedove, LDAP address book, Outlook address book, Windows system address book and other external data sources.
- Then click "Next" and follow the next steps, for example select the database type.
- Enter the file path from which your address book should be imported.
- Define a table type and give the data source a title.
- Then insert your address book into your document for editing via the "Data sources"> "Tables" icon.
