LibreOffice: Turn off automatic hyperlinks
If you want to print your document under LibreOffice, you should switch off the automatic hyperlinks. They appear on paper as annoying, blue, underlined texts. We'll show you where to find the appropriate setting here.
Switch off automatic website link in LibreOffice
- In the LibreOffice window, select the "Tools" tab.
- Click "AutoCorrect Settings" in the context menu.
- A new window opens on your desktop. Select the "Options" tab there.
- Look for the "Detect URL" entry in the list.
- Remove the two ticks from the check boxes and confirm the change with "OK".
- LibreOffice will no longer set hyperlinks and your Internet addresses will appear as normal black text.
To make your texts look more personal, you can add new fonts under LibreOffice and make your document even more individual. This tip refers to LibreOffice version 4.1.4.2.
