LibreOffice: Format footnotes
This guide shows you how to format footnotes in LibreOffice.
Format footnotes in LibreOffice
- To format footnotes in LibreOffice, left-click the footnote and press the [F11] key on your keyboard.
- Right-click on the "Footnote" option under "Styles" to select the "Change" button.
- Here you can set numerous formatting options - from line spacing to background color. When you have adjusted your footnote to your requirements, click "OK" to confirm.
- If you want to edit the numbering options, click in front of the footnote in the text and select the "Footnote / Endnote" button under "Edit".
- To edit the format settings for the page and footnote, go to the "Format" tab under "Page". Here you will find the "Footnote" item on the far right, via which you can define the footnote area and adjust the dividing line.
